“When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman.”
A smile at the right moment
can act like sunlight
on a closed up flower.
It may be the turning point
for a struggling life.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the
stars you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is
clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you perceive him to
be, and whatever your aspirations in the noisy confusion of
life, keep peace with your soul.

With all of it's sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
It is the summer of my smiles.

THE SPOON

Some days I think I need nothing
more in life than a spoon.
With a spoon I can eat oatmeal
Or take the medicine doctors prescribe
I can swat a fly sleeping on the sill
or pound the table to get attention.
I can point accusingly at God
or stab the empty air repeatedly.
Looking into the spoon’s mirror,
I can study my face in its shiny bowl,
or cover one eye to make half the world
disappear. With a spoon
I can dig a tunnel to freedom
spoonful by spoonful of dirt,
or waste life catching moonlight
and flinging it into the blackest night.

-- Richard Jones
I'm sorry I let you down,
but you have to know this
the part of me that you have
means more than all the parts they have
and if you still want me,
I'm all yours.

BE WEIRD.

The fish said: "I can't see my tears because I'm in the water."

The water said: "I can feel your tears because you're in my heart"
Remember to always be yourself. Unless you suck.

PEACH

If a little mushroom guy
told me you were in
another castle
...I'd go to another castle
and another
and another
until I found you.

You are a smiling star
that makes me feel
invincible,
and in any other poem
a sentiment like that
could choke an ox,
but in this one,
it's just awesome.

When I'm standing
next to you
you could tell me
the bushes and the clouds
are the same,
and I wouldn't bat an eye.

When I kiss you
I feel like I just picked up
one of those feathers
that turns into a cape
that lets me fly
way up into the sky
but if I get too far away
just shoot me down
a little bit
gently
not with one of those
angry bullet guys
but maybe with
a playful teasing jest
at my stature
or my mustache
and I'll come right back down.

You're the flag
at the top of my flagpole.

I guess what I'm saying is this:
if you got kidnapped
by some insane
fire-breathing turtle
dragon king,
he better watch his back,
cuz it's-a me, Mario,
and you're my peach,
princess.
He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words.
A woman in love can't be reasonable - or she probably wouldn't be in love.
Dr. Seuss
“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.”

I SPEAK TWO LANGUAGES, BODY AND LANGUAGE.

“Hey mister music, sure sounds good to me I can't refuse it. What to be, got to be."

Hephzibah:
in ancient hebrew characters means "my delight is in her", from Isaiah 62:4

HER KISSES LEFT SOMETHING TO BE DESIRED -- THE REST OF HER.

LITTLES AND LOVE.

“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.” Billy – age 4

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.” Karl – age 5

“When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That’s love.” Rebecca- age 8

“Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.” Bobby – age 7 (Wow!)

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.” Karen - age 7

CRAVING SUNSHINE.

australia: may 25, 2011
Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit.  A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world.  ~Ada Louise Huxtable
“The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death! What’s that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating…and you finish off as an orgasm.” –George Carlin
Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.
Love is to the heart what the summer is to the farmer's year - it brings to harvest all the loveliest flowers of the soul.

IF FRIENDS WERE FLOWERS, I'D PICK YOU.

“Even though we’ve changed and we’re all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we’ll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing with ever change so much to the point where we’re not all still friends.”
ET, AT, JF.

TO EASE ANOTHER'S HEARTACHE IS TO FORGET ONE'S OWN.
